Spring tales I use a charchole brick and a tube that's Dark and holds moisture put a culture in it and feed them with yeast flakes and you will have tons of springtails in no time only in 1 of My enclosures you can even find once you add them to the enclosure but when I add to bio enclosure I'll put s9me of the brick charcoal in bottom corner and cover with dirt that's were the springtails will lay eggs and if you put it under your water dish then ya always have plenty of moisture but springtails are really easy

I had one wander into my front yard today. Trying to find the owner but we’ll see if they step up or see my ads and posts. Are you able to keep them in the backyard safely if we make a safe spot ? Or do you think they’ll dig out of the backyard ?

I had one wander into my front yard today, so looks like we’ll probably be keeping him/her. Looks full grown but someone painted her shell pink. How do I remove this without harming her shell? I know not to scrub it or use a solvent or anything. Just at a loss at how I’m going to get it off. If we keep her we’ll make a safe outdoor home that she can get in and out of and she’ll live outside and have full run of the backyard and then we will bring her in the reptile room for brumation.

Desinfection might not be needed for bearded dragon but it's needed to keep our ferniture safe from woodworms that can easily spread around the house. Your metod is good but I would add a woodwoorm killer to that and let it dry for a few days before putting unside vivarium

Can you trim Ackies' nails? I've trimmed a female iguana's nails and guinea pigs' nails and that made quite a difference. I only stropped when my iguana was totally grown and mature and she decided she'd rather whoop me or bite me than sit pretty for me to trim her nails! I'm seriously considering an ackie, but would rather trim nails! My skin is getting "older"!

Idk i might have to disagree. Had a bad blizzard and power was out for 7 days. My ackie though i wasnt sure if he was still alive stayed buried not moving for almost 15 days 7 more cold no power 7 more power house and enclosure fully headed

They shouldn't let just anyone give advice on UA-cam.. your enclosures are deplorable. Reptile are very susceptible to disease and wood harbors bacteria.. terrible advice

This animals sadly aren't from the wild anymore. They are mostly captive breed over several generations and also often with incest. So they are far more sensitive against parasites and sickness then wild living animals of their species

Rather than a plexiglass bottom, Not sure if it’s the best but I wouldn’t see why it wouldn’t be, but I made a wood enclosure and painted two thick layers of rubberised paint on the bottom which is very durable and I could pool water in there with no leaks and it’s self levelling paint which fills every crack or possible leak
